College Transport
St Augustine’s Home to School transport scheme is operated by St Augustine’s Enterprises Ltd and currently offers routes for those travelling from the Calne, Chippenham, Corsham and Melksham areas.

** Westbury train station temporary closure Friday 27th December 2024 to Thursday 23 January 2025 **
There will be no trains running between Westbury, Frome and Yeovil Junction and Yeovil Pen Mill, Salisbury, Trowbridge and Chippenham. Network Rail is replacing track and upgrading signals to the immediate south of Westbury station. Minor station improvements and repairs to the station roof are also planned.
As a result, replacement buses will be operating between Westbury and:
•Trowbridge
•Frome
•Salisbury
•Chippenham
Train services will run between Bristol Temple Meads/Bath and Trowbridge but may be subject to re-timings. A limited number of train services will run via an alternative route between Frome and Trowbridge - not stopping at Westbury. Please see travel options below.

AM: 08:08 Frome to Trowbridge (08:31 arrival into Trowbridge) - Train Service
PM: 15:35 Trowbridge to Frome (16:24 arrival into Frome) - Replacement Bus
Traveling from Westbury?
AM: 07:47 Westbury to Trowbridge (08:20 arrival into Trowbridge) - Replacement Bus
PM: 15:35 Trowbridge to Westbury (15:53 arrival into Westbury) - Replacement Bus
Traveling from Warminster/Salisbury?
AM: 06:30 Salisbury to Trowbridge (08:20 arrival). Departs Warminster 07:15 - Replacement Bus PM: 15:35 Trowbridge to Salisbury (17:15 arrival). Arrives Warminster 16:15 - Replacement Bus

Students residing in Somerset

All students wishing to travel should apply to Somerset County Council on their application line 0845 345 9155 if you qualify for low-income transport. All other students should source their own transportation.
Students residing in Wiltshire

New students wishing to travel should apply to St Augustine's Enterprises Ltd for the data collection and information sheets direct.
Wiltshire travellers
Please note;

The stated bus routes are subject to change depending on numbers travelling and the capacity of the buses.

Bus routes cannot be extended.

Timetables may be adjusted, for example due to road works.

The bus fare schedule for all routes will be available from the transport office by the end of the summer term. Please email transport@sta.cc for this information.

Places on the Home to School Transport Scheme cannot be relinquished in year until full payment has been received.

Transport is available to St Augustine's on transport operated by St Augustine's Enterprises Ltd.

Students in Years 7 to 11 need to apply direct to St Augustine's Enterprises Ltd for a full-fare seat, if any are available.

The Home to School transport cost will be calculated in mileage zones. Transport is available from the following areas:

Please note that whilst we are currently able to offer this service, provision is reviewed annually and, if student numbers are not sufficient to cover the cost of the service, the service may be withdrawn.

Students residing in Wiltshire
Current Year 11 students

All Year 11 students who have applied to study in 6th form at St. Augustine’s may wish to apply for a full-fare place on the St Augustine’s Home to School transport routes and will need to contact St Augustine's Enterprises Ltd for a full-fare seat, if any are available.

Alternatively, students who have applied to study in the 6th form at St Augustine’s may wish to apply to Wiltshire Council under the post-16 scheme to travel on the transport routes arranged to Wiltshire College. Post-16 application forms can be obtained from Wiltshire Council or visit their webpage here.
Current Year 12 students

Current students paying a full-fare on St Augustine’s transport should reapply to St Augustine's Enterprises Ltd direct.
